*The children of Al B. Sure, M.C. Hammer and Bobby Brown will join other kids of famous singers in the new MTV singing competition "Rock the Cradle," premiering April 3 at 10 p.m.
I'm actually working with MTV to promote the show and I think one differentiation between this show and others like it is at some level or another; most of the contestants actually have some level of performance experience and general talent. It's always going to be difficult for children of famous musicians to get out from under their parent's shadow, but I think the show is a starting point for them to establish themselves independently as artists. Do you guys think anyone stands out and has a shot at making it?
