This has been on every hip hop blog worth reading already but I know a few of you only come here for your hip hop updates and this video is pretty noteworthy so here it is anyway. DJ Khaled does yet more of his annoying intros and ad-libs but Birdman establishes once and for all that he is truly the Southern Diddy and by that I mean, a celebrity 'rapper' with a marginal talent but an outsize personality and ability to pull favors from real artists with way more talent than his own to help him make music and over-the-top cinematic videos. read more »

This was sent to me from a Bad Boy promo rep with a note saying, "the latest single from Boyz N da Hood's critically acclaimed album, Back Up N da Chevy...." Normally I would dismiss that kind of hype without a second thought, especially with these dudes, but I happened to play the album a couple weeks ago and it actually is pretty good even with Jeezy M.I.A. for the second go around.
