It's been a while:
Mickey Factz - "LYHH" [YSI mp3 D/L link]
And a bonus video featuring him and his GFC Crew living that YBI life:
Get ready for
I posted the trailer for this a while back. This is the official video though. Like my man said, this ain't like the greatest hip hop song in the world or anything but I just like the
Tone Wop Creating the dance to "Go In."
I think this dude used to be down with DMX's Bloodline records. Now he's making the kind of records 17 year olds in Harlem usually do but I'm not mad. It's about the kids, the f-cking kids:
Big Stan - "Go In" (YSI mp3 link)
I've talked about this kid Mickey Factz before and I'll be talking about him again in the future. Unquestionably the best unsigned MC in NYC: 120% YBI B-boy with skills, charisma and real songs talking about real things beyond just cars, guns, b*tches, jewelry and trapping etc. If anyone's gonna "bring New York back" (whatever) it's gonna be someone new young and fresh 2 def like Mickey. Check out this track sampling Fall Out Boy nicely that his GFC crew just e-blasted out (I'll be posting more music by Mickey from a demo CD they passed me a while back when I get confirmation on the track titles):
I'm retarded busy at work so I don't have time to post like I want so bear with me 'til it slows down again. In the meantime....
I haven't mentioned it on the site much (at all?) but I LOVE the "Rock Yo Hips" single by Crime Mob so here's video of these Down South YBI cats being interviewed by my dude Sneek of HiphopGameTV:
Love me or hate me, I was the first blog dude on that Chicken Noodle sh-t. I don't know if I can claim the same again on this one but this "Aunt Jackie" joint might be the next YBI jump to blow once Lil Mama finishes destroying "106 & Park" and TRL with her forthcoming "Lip Gloss" video. Hot 97 is already killing this one. Harlem does it again!
