So while we're on a Camp Lo kick, here's a link mixtape to the Ski Beatz Beatz, Rhymes & Samples mixtape that I think did the rounds a few months ago but I never really checked out until my dude DJ Raize gave me an actual physical copy yesterday. This is a nice collection of tracks from the classic Uptown Saturday Night album mixed by Raize with the original songs they sampled plus a few exclusive Ski Beatz productions including the unreleased Camp Lo track "Ticket for Two." I for one never knew that "Cooley High" sampled Janet Jackson's "Funny How Time Flies" - now that's producing cos Ski did an incredible job chopping that sample up.
