Culture VI (Feat Royce da 5′9″) - “Never Had A Clue”
“Never Had A Clue” is an awesome new single from Culture VI alongside the legendary — yes, I said legendary — Royce da 5′9. This appears on Culture VI’s sophomore LP, Ninety-Four, slated for release on August 19th.
Self-Centered is a side project from one of my favorite MCs Supastition, who now goes by the alias Kam Moye for some reason. The Self-Centered EP is a precursor to Supa’s upcoming full-length, Splitting Image. It’s laced with production from M-Phazes, Eric G, Veterano, and a guest appearance from Kaze.

Mickey Factz & Cool Kids - Rockin and Rolling (Remix)
Produced by up and comers Illphonics. Also featured on the upcoming Mickey Factz-hosted mixtape Vietnam Vol. 2 Mixtape.
After a brief sabbatical from rap, the boys return with an SUV-friendly banger.

Rukus - “Let the Beat Build” Freestyle
Rukus is all like, Y’all can have the damn “A Millie” beat, but I have a rape appointment with the “Let the Beat Build” beat. Ha! Try saying “Let the Beat Build” beat 5 times in a row.
“Carry the Weight” is a powerful analysis of Xzibit’s strained relationship with his father. Apologies to the few good dads out there, I didn’t mean to ruin your Father’s Day celebration. It was either this or “Poppa Was a Playa.” Ha! Hey if it helps, I can relate to both songs.
Praverb - “The King”
Produced by: The Admiral
“Call me John Obama or Barack McCain/Either way, I claim both the black and white vote”
Fresh out of the recording booth comes this chest-thumping banger from the homey Praverb, who says he recorded this joint today. I dare you to get that beat out of your head anytime soon.
Here’s Khal’s brilliant review of Praverb’s Center of Attention LP.

Tanya Morgan - “Hip-Hop Is Dead II”
One of the better cuts on their new CD, The Bridge EP, due out June 17th.
